Season 1, Episode 7 “Late-in-Life Lesbians Coming Soon!”

Doris: [00:00:04] Hello listeners – Doris Anderson here.

You know, when you are a lesbian, sometimes life can be hard. And dang, I have been ball and chained to my day job the last few months.

But I’m the kind of single gal who likes to make lemonade out of lemons. So I am pushing forward and just want to give you a heads up about Season 2, Episode 1 coming very soon.

I am thrilled to announce this episode will be a tribute to late-in-life lesbians.

[00:00:40] Let me give you a little preview:

Knock, Knock.

Who’s there?

My husband?

My husband who?

Exactly.

In the meantime time, my busy schedule doesn’t stop cats from becoming homeless. So let me tell you about who’s desperately in need of adoption.

[00:01:02] Do you have a brand-new living room set? The one you’ve always dreamed of?

But do you feel like there’s something still missing, that you can’t quite put your finger on?

I’ll tell you what it is: A centerpiece – A white, Persian cat sitting right in the middle of the couch.

Miss Pretty Princess is a 4-year old Exotic Shorthair Persian cat who has been declawed – on both her front and back feet, so she’s not going to be shedding your velvet drapes or ottoman – or – really anything.

I want to acknowledge that declawing cats is a cruel form of animal abuse. I do want to applaud a couple of states: Maryland and Nevada. They have passed anti-clawing bills – and I hope many more states will follow.

But for Miss Pretty Princess, you can’t turn back time.

A young couple who recently had a baby surrendered Miss Pretty Princes to the Alphabet City Cat Rescue and Shelter when they realized she was just never going to stop hissing at the baby.

A perfect accent to a newly re-decorated living room, Miss Pretty Princess would do extremely well in a childless house. And, her white coat is a standout on any fabric color – even if you have a white couch, her blue eyes will pop!
