Season 1, Episode 6 “Farewell Season One, Hello Season Two!”
[SOUND: Instrumental theme music begins and fades out.]
Doris: [00:00:04] Hello listeners!
I’m wrapping up my first season and getting ready for the second season coming out in 2022!
I know the world-wide suffering has just been unbearable this past year, so I hope this show brought a ray of sunshine into the life of all you self-identified lesbians, and our GBTQAI allies.
While we are taking a break and gearing up for season two, catch up on the episodes you missed from season one!
We covered the top five most perverted lesbian films of all time, identified the sexiest lady anthropologists out there, sized up Carol Arid and Mildred Ratched, and, we reclaimed Halloween!!
I’d like to thank all my volunteers along with progressive brother Ernest Ebell for twinkling those ivories and doing a beautiful recording of my theme song. And last but not least, I’d like to thank all of my listeners!
You know, most of my listeners are from the United States. But I’d like to give a shout out to Germany – there are a surprisingly high volume of listeners from that country! Hott, queer Fräuleins: Mi casa es su casa!
I can take a break between seasons, but the Alphabet City Cat Rescue and Shelter is open 24/7, 365. So let me entice you into adopting one more little lost soul before I go on break
[00:01:46] Let’s say you’re a person who likes plants, but you want something more – and yet – you're afraid to make a commitment to a fully functioning creature. Well, this is the cat for you!
Sylvester is fourteen years old and has lost the will to live. And yet, his heart is still beating.
A black and white cat, Sylvester lets you dote over him as much as you want to - but at the same time, he doesn’t notice if you act like he’s not there.
There is one thing you have to pay attention to: Sylvester needs an IV of fluids daily because his kidneys are on the blink. And no worries because cats can go on with failing kidney's for years.
Sylvester makes a lovely room decoration during the day and then doubles as a foot-warmer in your bed at night. All you have to do in return, is make him feel comfortable and you’ll have a furry plant-like creature that makes eye contact.
Interested parties should email me, Doris@In-Heat.com. That’s Doris, the @ sign, in, the dash sign, heat dot com. And I will connect you with the Alphabet City Cat Rescue and Shelter
